About this event
Go on a date with your Calgary Phil and hear glorious music inspired by that most powerful of human passions: love. Mahler’s tender Adagietto is a musical love letter to his wife Alma, while Tchaikovsky gives the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet one of classical music’s most famous love tunes. Glière’s dreamy concerto features the Phil’s Principal Harp, Emily Melendes.
