The night
Before you go
Join us for Free First Thursday at Contemporary Calgary, presented in partnership with Springboard Performance as part of Fluid Fest, featuring Silvering: In Community. Silvering: In Community invites audiences into an evening of performance, movement and conversation that reframes aging as a source of creativity, connection and possibility. Throughout the building, professional elder dancers and dance-curious community participants appear in unexpected encounters, including performances, conversations and shared experiences that respond to the architecture and artworks. The gallery becomes a place where age is embodied, celebrated and experienced.
